It was a boom time in 1941, Americans are back to work and there is cash to spend. The latest Chevrolet has been redesigned for the third time in as many years and no longer has the same look or ride of a utility pickup. The ’41 Chevy is perceived as a bargain by consumers; both the Master DeLuxe and Special DeLuxe versions have a lot more interior room plus they resemble the much more expensive Buick. The new Chev can be had for an entry level price of $712.00 up to the top of the line unit for $995.00. There were 108,976 of the full sized DeLuxe produced that year and all were powered by the newly upgraded “Victory Six” engine.
